Aaah, I was just scrolling through network and found this post, and I also just watched BPM recently and loved it. Everything about it was gorgeous, but I was most surprised by the extent to which I could have watched them just debate stuff for hours— it’s very clear that the writer was there and wants to emphasize the importance of the people who show up every day to sit in a lecture hall and listen to each other talk and argue.
