Well that would be interesting to talk about. My initial reaction to the word "invalid" is maybe to leave that one behind, since it makes me think "not valid", and everyone is valid and valuable. But it seems like some of the struggles of disabled people to redefine their lives are certainly struggles that have happened over and over again throughout history, probably each person in her or his own life-- and yet it can feel like you are doing it all alone, no one has ever done this before! Which is interesting.
