Yes, she gradually decides that she wants to live out a different story for herself. Not the story she was living, of fun-loving girlfriend/wife and friend, but a different one altogether, that of powerful and successful lawyer who stands up for others and gets what she wants. And what she wants might be different than she thought. It is so great!
