This was basically my experience when we first got a dog. :) Not so much now since a) we're in the country and b) Jack's anti-social (*sigh*), but that's been one of the great things about having Squeaker around and being able to take her places. Even when you really, really just want to hide under the covers and wallow, damn if the pup doesn't have to go pee! And it's not like she can work the doorknob (thank god), so if she's to get exercise and socialization, it's up to you. It's nothing that you'd think you'd want, the work part, but it can be exactly what you need.
