I'll be curious to see what you think once you get to the part about trans kids. I read something about the book that made it sound like he takes an angle of empathizing more with the kids' parents (oh no what a terrible ordeal to have a child who isn't cis) than with the kids themselves, but I did like Solomon's book _The Noonday Demon_, so if he does take the ragingly cissexist approach I'll be disappointed. (And because I'm afraid of that, I haven't picked up the book yet myself.)
