I know a lot of people who like the L word! The first episode put me off, but maybe I will try again some day.

The direct, unapologetic queer sexuality of Queer as Folk was something I needed at the time that I watched it, and something I value about the show. I think it has some problems with racism and other things; that would bother me if I went to rewatch it. But oh I loved it! And yeah still relevant in a lot of ways.
