Ask the internet

My brother N. says he is able to make face masks, but not sure who needs them. He lives in a small city in Northern Wisconsin, and he's not an internet person. He's an engineer and has 3D printers both at home and at work.

Anyone know info I can send on to him?

"Mask Crusaders - start a local chapter or volunteer - you select "mask, face shield, or other DIY production"

COVID-19 frontline workers are running out of protective equipment, while individuals and institutions have extra masks, gloves and other protective equipment to donate. Through our simple platform, frontline workers connect directly with donors—with no slow go-between— so within our first 24 hours we were able to facilitate the donation of over 3,000 items, and 50,000 in our first week.

If you want to volunteer with our national team, or start a Mask Crusaders network in your area, please fill out this form.

* We are now up and running in over 25 cities; to donate materials, or if you are a frontline worker seeking donations, please visit us at: www.MaskCrusaders.org"

There's also https://getusppe.org/makers/ and if there are any local makerspaces in his area they might already be coordinating efforts for local healthcare orgs
