This was a happy episode that contained some devastating moments! Wow!
When Colin is at the gay bar, and Trent approaches him, Colin just immediately pivots. It's so fast, so seamless, how he covers his reactions and comes up with an excuse to get out of there. How much of his "I'm just a simple guy"* is an act? Damn!
*trying to find ways that are not ableist to talk about mainstream cultural concept of intelligence and lack thereof!

My theory on Ted's trip was that it was not a "dud batch" but rather a weak batch of drugs. Ted does not have the tolerance built up so felt it more.

Yeah the pivot was sad and shocking to see. I am so happy that my pocket of the planet doesn't require that level of closetedness.
I'm glad that Trent is canonically queer because we need all the cool grey-striped raccoon-men.
My theory on Ted's trip is he contains multitudes. When he gives himself permission to let go and follow his dreams he arrives in strange places.
