New awesome words

Two words that should clearly enter common usage:

1. Textravert (n) (coined by [personal profile] badgerbag): a person (like me) who is more inclined to extraversion in textual format.

2. Dollhouse (v) (coined by takumashii:

To make excuses for the failings of a serial entertainment in the hope that those failings are going to be undercut any moment now, because they're just too stupid to continue as presented.

Usage example:

"I thought the last episode of Glee was kind of bad, but I'm Dollhousing it for at least a couple more episodes."

the amount of use I will be able to get out of this word is incalculable. And that in itself makes me kinda sad.

Joss Whedon sure does have way of contributing to fandom's lexicon, doesn't he?

Heh. That is exactly how I feel about Glee and Dollhouse.

Absolute win!

In terms of CSI, I was Dollhousing it after all my favorite characters left or died. Then I quit watching for a while. Now I'm Jorja Foxing it, because they brought her back, i.e., watching a show because of a cheap ploy they used to get viewers back, that I recognize is a cheap ploy, but I'm watching anyhow, no matter how bad it is. Or perhaps if we go by character, it would be Sara Sidle-ing it.

Ok everyone heap the crit on me, but I like Dollhouse! =p It was fun brain candy--sugary and bad for me, but easy to watch and fun. It's not going to be winning any art awards, but it's a lot better than some of the serials out there right now.
