It's been called to my attention that certain language I've been using related to eating is disturbing and possibly triggering. I will stop using it. I apologize. In addition, it's always de-friending amnesty day at this journal; and if you want to be taken off filters amnesty applies there as well.

Just out of interest and if you don't mind telling me, what was the language in question? Wondering whether it's something I should be watching out for myself.

"Puking up the patriarchy/kyriarchy", I think is the worst one, although unwarned-for references to not eating were in there too, under filter. I don't have an eating disorder; I do have digestive problems connected to stress.

This statement raises a conundrum: how to apologize for triggering language without citing the language in question. d_c just plows in and asks, and that's fine.

But in general, any ideas?

Maybe put it under a cut? Or gray it out like they do warnings for fanfic stories.
