I am trying to think of alcoholics (recovered or not) on TV or movies, who are not white and male. All I can come up with is Sandra Bullock's character in 28 Days, which is a movie explicitly about rehab (an "issue" movie).

I purchased this fic as part of a charity auction to send anatsuno to Australia. It is a lovely story and I loved this reading of it by glittertine. She has a great voice.
