I know! That episode left such a sour taste in my mouth, because I was enjoying the show on a kind of silly, if sometimes a bit gender essentialist, level, and then, BAM.
I think Bryan Fuller has some serious fat bigotry going on, because it came up in Wonderfalls too. :(
