Our humane society is not yet no kill. They've been working for almost a decade to get there. Pitties have the hardest time, of course, because of the prejudice against them. (There was also a horrible owner who bred 185 dogs for fighting rings. He was caught, and the county dumped the dogs at the HS and said "here, cope." It's taken a couple years to recover from the investment made in those dogs.) Yes I"m a local supporter.
