No Squint has two modes of action, accessible through the "Global Settings" button at the bottom left of the menu when you click its toolbar icon.
In the middle of the "Zoom Options" settings, the Zoom Method has a choice between CSS API -- NoSquint adds its own style sheet to whatever site you're visiting Chrome API -- NoSquint modifies Chrome's internal style sheet.
Not all sites will look optimal with one method, but it doesn't look like NoSquint can remember CSS v Chrome on a site-by-site basis.
I've tried out many different extensions for this, and I do know that when I have more than one active, wacky things can ensue. So if the page is suddenly tiny or huge, I just quit & relaunch. (Using OneTab to keep all my precious distractions up to date.)
