Thanks for your supportive comments on my last post!
The reason for the picture turned out to be fairly innocuous:
"This photo was from the walk through we conducted last year. It got lost
in the shuffle and I was reminded of it when I saw your dog. I checked
through the pet agreement in the file and saw that there was one for the
dog but not the snake. "
They say that snakes are not allowed in the units due to difficulty catching them if they escape. So, we are going to re-home him.
