Yes, I do just undiluted vodka in a spray bottle - some people cut it with water to make it last longer, but it's really efficient when it's not diluted.
Re coffee grounds, it does have to be unbrewed coffee (it doesn't work after the coffee gets wet) but there's a lot of bad coffee around if you're not interested in drinking it.
