Day most beautiful

Such a beautiful day! I went for a nature walk, listened to Fair Trade by esteefee, read by wihluta. Very good!
Here are 3 pictures and some thoughts about podfic and associations:

Now I associate this story with this beautiful meadow, see? I usually read fic on my laptop in my crappy apartment. Sometimes on my Kindle, although I haven't been great about transferring fic over to the Kindle--it needs to be sufficiently long to make it worth the extra step. Big Bang fics will be good for that, I suppose; although honestly I'm sometimes averse to longer fic, because of my attention span issues mostly, and my desire to read things in one sitting. But hey, podfic solves this too!
I'm reminded of Our Podfic Journey part 1. Towards the end we were listening to "Group W Bench" and we drove by this enormous lake in Northern Minnesota. It was late, maybe 9ish, but still quite light out-- Summer Solstice, and driving North and West, chasing the sun. The sky was beautiful. The story is already one of my favorites, but what a great added memory, that beautiful lake and sky.
One thing, headphones irritate me some. I'm one of those Highly Sensitive People or whatever; every little thing bothers me. Also, you know, I have a neuropathy in my face. I have two types of headphones I'm trying and they both bother me in different ways. LE SIGH.
Then
cabell and I went to the mall for a while, and later I went out to eat with
corvid and
tasiha. Had very interesting conversations.
I pushed myself a little too hard with all the walking and activity, found myself exhausted, and did not go to my last scheduled activity of the day (helping someone move).
