I am fickle and super inconsistent about how I say my dog's name. I should probably stick to something because I've now had her for 7 weeks. Weigh in! (I think "pronunciation" is the right spelling but I don't want to edit the poll.)

I picked Sorsha because that's how I always read it in my head before reminding myself that it's supposed to be pronounced one of the other ways.
Of course, I read Penelope as penny-lope instead of pen-el-O-pee for years. I could never reconcile the two, even though I'd heard the name (on the Dudley Do-Right), and would call the cartoon character by her correct pronunciation. I have no idea how I ever managed Hermoine, but it never gave me any trouble. /weird trivia

Also, why doesn't sasha let us ticky as well as opine?

I picked radio buttons instead of check boxes, because if people started choosing two or more pronunciations, it would make the data even more confusing.

I do believe Pen ELL o pee is the correct way to say it.

I interpret ticky box as "I have no opinion on this matter but I like ticking boxes" or possibly "abstain but want to see results". I think you used to have to tick a box to see the result. DW fixed this bug by including a "see results" feature but I still like the to include the ticky box for funsies.

I probably say Pen ELL o pee too, I just couldn't figure out how to show the long O without the symbol. Although, I think maybe the cartoon had it more Pe NELL o pee Pit stop. /dork

(I'l never not hear it with the "sh" sound.)
