Day 4

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.

1. Long Fic recs that I can put on my Kobo. I really appreciate you folks who make reccing a practice! Most of what I read comes from Dreamwidth posts. Lately I'm most interested in XMFC snd the Losers. I like happy stories and AUs.
I will also read:
Tony/Bruce or Tony/Bruce/Pepper Avengers fic, or Natasha/Clint fic, or good fic with other pairings, but I'm not into Clint/Coulson, unfortunately.

2. Watch vids with me! I love social fan time. If you are not local, maybe you can come to WisCon!

3. Leave feedback on my work. You know this makes any creator happy. :D

4. Transform my work. This could be anything from using one of my photos for a podfic cover or icon base, to recording podfic of my stories, or simply chatting with me and getting ideas that spark new ideas! I love that stuff.

5. Netflix streaming recs! I watch a lot of Netflix. :D I sometimes write about what I watch, which you can read about via my netflix tag.

I wish there was a catalogue list of what is on US Netflix streaming and UK Netflix (which is streaming only) so I knew what I could rec you!

That would be really helpful indeed! You could rec me things anyway, and I could look-- I have some time on my hands right now. Also there is a comm: netflix_dw which I sometimes use for this sort of thing.

I love ATLA! I even watched it back in the day when it aired for the first time on TV! I suppose I can always rewatch stuff if I get bored enough. :)

If you've not read it, Imagine the Ocean, an AU in which Katara is the Avatar, is super excellent. (Don't be worried by the indication that it's a WIP; Part 1, which is finished, can stand totally on its own).

I'm really enjoying Pretty Little Liars on Netflix. I don't usually like teen shows, but I like this one because it is so focused on positive relationships among all the girls. It has canon queerness too. (Though also a bit of fat-shaming at some points, and some weirdness with one of the antagonist characters who goes blind, and then gets her sight back). Smoke Signals is an excellent movie on Netflix. Meerkat Manor! :D I also vaguely want to suggest Luther to fans of Sherlock, but I'm not sure that's actually a good comparison or not? It's on Netflix anyway.

If you've read The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, you should check out the two Yuletide fics here. You may not need to read the book to enjoy the fic. (The book is kind of slow to start but good overall.)

I really really like The Lizzie Bennet Diaries on YouTube. Modern Pride & Prejudice AU that is really well done.

The only new show I've watched lately is Scandal, which I think you already tried and didn't like. It is pretty soapy.
