Hemlock Grove

sasha_featherSeason 1 of Hemlock Grove: I liked it! With some reservations. I find the characters and world very compelling and will keep watching. There are a couple of BSG alum actors; also Famke Janssen from X-men.
If you decide to watch, be aware that at the end of episode 7 there is a disturbing rape scene.
Other content notes: violence against women and girls; gore and blood; self-harm (perhaps as kink?); animal harm; drug use. Use of the word r*tard multiple times. Probably other things I'm forgetting. (sigh)
I love the friendship between Peter and Roman, and would like fic involving them plus Letha.
I figured out that the Godfreys and Rumanceks are connected through Olivia; in a flashback she mentioned having a child named Magdalena that she gave away. I believe Magdalena was the old woman in Nicolai's story about encountering the SS upir.
