Oh let's share.

+ I adore the preview at DW.
+ Cross posting from DW is easy
+ I've written macros which insert the appropriate code for DW user - on - LJ and LJ user - on - DW.
- I have a highly functional Mac client for LJ—with previews! and polls!—that doesn't work at all on DW.
- Forcing LJ readers to comment on DW is putting another barrier in their way, and I'm a total comment whore.
- Can't import just the comments from LJ
- Bought a paid account on DW, totally used to the feature set; does this mean I have to buy an LJ paid account too?

Oh yes! Some of it is just that LJ has long been my "home" on the internet, and I'm now adapting to somewhere new. Crossposting is so easy that sometimes I do in unintentionally. I don't like having comments at two places, and I'm not sure if I should crosspost everything, and it's made me *a lot* more aware of my audience, since my subscribers are slightly different. Although-- I really like the subscribe/access thing because it tells me who probably is reading. Ack. It's the not knowing what/when to crosspost that's really getting me.

I don't think you have to buy a paid LJ account! I have one and like it, but... I see no reason to have 2 paid accounts for basically the same type of service, especially when DW is supposed to have improvements on LJ.
