--I really enjoyed going to comics club today. Some of us had ice cream afterwards. It's a great group of people that I probably otherwise would not have gotten to meet. I took a pleasant, dozy nap afterwards.

--The weather is really nice and I can wear my jackets and sweaters.

--Do you ever look in the mirror and think, ooh, yay, I'm getting wrinkles! ...no? just me?

I cannot lie - I am not particularly excited about wrinkles. I don't have any quite yet, but I don't think I'll hate them even if I'm not excited about them.

Now, white hair (because I am getting white hair, and was born with very, very dark brown so as to be considered black by many hair) has been growing in on me. And it came early. ;__; But it's just a few strands so I can manage them. So, while I am excited about the pretty color, I am not excited about the timing. *sigh*

Sometimes looking a bit older and wiser can have its advantages. :D

I have a mixed relationship with my wrinkles. There are many of them, indeed, and my eye wrinkles are principally from laughter so I like em. The ones that droop from the corners of my mouth down to the edge of my chin are not so welcome. I am concerned that as WisCon member Dorothy put it, I will become someone whose resting face looks unhappy and people will avoid talking to me because of it.

Also my turkey chin looks just like my father's. Not a happy sight in the morning and evening.

I don't think about wrinkles one way or another, but I was pleased when I spotted grey hairs in the mirror.

Darker-haired folks probably notice them more easily than blonde people. :)
