Challenge #3
Pimp Your Favorite Communities, Fests or Challenges!
I'd like us to not use "pimp". Let us say promote, highlight, spotlight, shine, sparkle... etc.
I used to be really into DW communities but they seem to have drifted away and diminished. I haven't participated in challenges or fests in recent years, except for watching Festivids, which I really look forward to and enjoy. The idea of doing fic challenges is stressful to me, but I do like the snowflake challenge, and writing prompts in general. I'd always like to write more, and these prompts are helpful.

For even less stress, you can lurk on someone else's prompt call in their journal. I run a Poetry Fishbowl on the first Tuesday of each month; next up is Jan. 7 with a theme of "Short Forms" (so anything goes in the actual topic). I get loads of prompts and totally don't mind other folks writing to them. Nobody will know if you do, unless you mention it, so no pressure!
No sign-ups or other obligations, just ideas floating around for folks to grab whatever looks fun.
Outside the range of fanfic/origfic prompts, you can also find lists of blog post prompts:
https://coschedule.com/blog/creative-blog-post-ideas-and-topics/
https://optinmonster.com/50-blog-post-ideas-that-you-can-write-about-today/
I like to grab long lists of things and post them one at a time for discussion. Currently I'm running Self-Awareness Questions and Community Building Tips under Recurring Posts. This is a great way to keep up your blog activity for very little work, and spark some fun discussions.
