Vid Party half-assed recap

I was fortuante enough to go to a Vid party yesterday hosted by fairestcat and lovelokest at "La Casa de Slash", and met dira and commodorified. were_duck was also there, and someone whose user name I don't know.

We watched a whole lotta vids! Only a few of which I'd seen before!

OK, I know almost nothing about vids. CLEARLY THIS MUST BE FIXED. I had a great time.

And about 20+ others that I either can't remember or can't find right now. (Maybe I will edit more in tomorrow when I'm not so tired.) The one with sparkling Ronon set to "We Built this City on Rock and Roll"!!!! The amazing 300 vid! A Leverage vid! Lots of Doctor Who! All kinds of crazy shit!

We watched one really bad Supernatural Wincest vid, it was really hilariously bad-- and lovelokest said something about the aspect ratio being messed up, and were_duck said: "But this is about PAIN. Pain knows no aspect ratio!"

Awesome! Those are good people, and good vids. I LOVE the Built This City one - it fills me with joy. Those others on your list are all also fantastic, but I haven't seen the last two! *downloads*

I particularly liked Ameno! And I felt deprived in that I hadn't seen "Another Sunday"! :D

vids are the best! I am always excited when someone starts getting into vids. The ones you're thinking of are Jescaflowne's "Another Sunday" (we built this city on rock and roll!) and luminosity's "Vogue" (300). I admit to being curious about which Leverage vid you saw.

Frigging in the Rigging!! :o That one was amazing. I liked the celebrations of women characters vids too, those were also wondrous.
