sasha_featherI like this meme because it means I post something every day! And I am watching and downloading more vids, and thinking about them too.

This is one of the first vids I "got", and that hooked me into vid fandom. It's probably the most-watched vid in my folder. I understand it on multiple levels and see different things in it at different times. My impression is still that it serves as a critique of the film 300 (which I've never seen), a film where the audience is supposed to sympathize with the underdogs, and yet the underdogs are these flawless white hetero men, and the villains are brown people with deformed minions and their leader is a drag queen. I choose the weirdos!! The song, "move with music," portrays the violence as dance, the gore as performance, laid out for our entertainment. And yet you can see the glory and beauty in it. The editing and timing here are flawless. This vid is just---! Amazing-!
