Wish List meme

This is a meme orginally from dingsi. It is making a "permanent wish list" so that people can get you things if they want to! Also, if you make such a list, feel free to drop a link in comments here.

1. It is okay to want nice things. Post your wishlist! You don't have to be/do something special to "deserve" one! Just accept that sometimes people want to give you nice things! Because it makes them feel good, and/or they think you are rocksauce, or: because!

2. It is okay to not give someone what they want. People can be broke, out of energy, too busy, or simply go "eh, I'm not feeling particularly close to this person" and shrug and scroll past. Doesn't make them bad.




1. Headphones, since I broke mine at work. Not "ear buds". Not ear-muff style. I can't actually find the ones I want which is why I still haven't replaced them... the kind that wrap over the back of the ear. ETA: Like these ones

I bought these.

2. Music. I never buy music anymore but it is sure nice when people let me download songs and albums that they like. :) I listen to music in the car on my way to and from work, and when driving home to visit my family. Music from vids would be particularly appreciated!

3. Someone to help me hang up a heavy picture in my bedroom. (local or visiting person). Similarly, someone to help me clean my room, particularly vacuuming since I hate that chore more than any other. That one is done, but work buddies for other tasks are welcome.

4. Someone to take over shutterspeed, or maybe redesign the format to make it simpler, or maybe just motivate me to get it going again.

5. I will always accept SmartWool or other nice wool socks! normally I'm very picky about what I wear (aren't we all?), but I like pretty much all the SmartWool styles. My foot size is 40 European, or 8.5 to 9 US.

6. Dog treats for Sorcha Abbie. She likes meaty kinds and milk bones. (Abbie like everything).

7. A Wii and MarioKart. Not likely.

8. A work buddy to help motivate me to search for jobs or write.

9. ...?



I guess I will add to this list later! I am having a hard time thinking of anything.

I know the kind of headphones you mean, I miss mine like them, my earbuds are forever falling out. These, right? Not necessarily those in particular, the reviews say they're crap, but that style?

Oh I forgot about this list! Abbie seems to like everything. She is much less picky than Sorcha was. She likes apples, bananas, dried mango, milk bones, beef liver treats, peanut butter, and everything else I've given her. :D
