Unexpectedly, I feel relieved, like there is a weight off my shoulders.



jesse_the_k came over.

I'd gotten Sorcha up out of her crate and onto the couch; but in the last 24 hours she went downhill fast and she fell down on the brief walk there. So, it was obvious that it was time to go. I pet her and we watched a few fan vids.

The vet and an assistant came to the apartment and explained what they were doing. It didn't take very long.

I highly recommend having the vet come to your house if this service is available and you can afford it. It's much less stressful than even thinking about getting a sick animal into the car and into the vet's office. The people were nice and respectful and all around, I couldn't have asked for better.

We got out of the house afterwards and went shopping.

So many <3s; I'm glad it went as well as it could and that you had friends who were there for you and that you could do it at home. I am so glad I got to meet Sorcha when we visited! She was a good dog.
