Look at this fucking hotel room! It is like a fucking cruise-liner spaceship in the Fifth Element! Ruby Red is going to show up any moment!





There is a fucking port hole looking out over Lake Michigan!



There are skylights! Max Guevara is going to descend any moment and try to steal something, only to find some hapless poorish people staying here!



There is a TV in the mirror!



THERE IS A TV IN THE MIRROR!!!



There is HBO! You can watch True Blood whilst brushing your teeth.

And yes, we were at a radical leftist SF convention-- it was a bit odd to be staying in the fanciest hotel room of my life! But we were thrilled.

holy fuck! seriously though, why is there a tv in the mirror? (okay, clearly the answer is "why not?"). I think I would rather have a Magic Internet Mirror, personally. Seriously, you could ask it questions and catch up on Twitter while brushing your teeth.
